***This is a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) and it usually means that the disc is bad/scratched or else a problem occurred with the DVD drive hardware when trying to read the disc. We would recommend testing the disc in another computer to find out if the same thing happens. If so, the disc is likely bad. If the issue only occurs on that one computer, it may be a problem with the DVD drive.
If using a disc version, it may help to copy the contents of the discs to the computer first to see if the the computer can read the disc enough to get all the data on the desktop. If so, you would be able to install the game from the folders on the computer.
For digital downloads, a CRC error may indicate a problem with the file on the server and we would recommend contacting customer support of the online retailer from which you bought the game.
Please note that CRC errors are also common on modded or cracked versions of software....***
